Running a gaming venue

Pay gaming tax

Consumer and Business Services (CBS) send a monthly gaming tax statement to all gaming licensees. It must be paid electronically by the 7th of each month.

How to pay

You can pay your tax bill by:

  • automatic direct debit from your nominated bank account
  • following the instructions on the statement sent each month

If you don't pay your gaming tax by the 7th of the month, you will be fined 10% of your total tax bill for that month.

If you don't pay by the 10th of the month, CBS may suspend your licence until the full amount is paid.
