A registered owner of a boat can lodge an application to cancel the registration and receive a refund (if applicable) on the unexpired registration remaining.

Take your completed form to a Service SA centre.
Cost
A $19 cancellation fee is deducted from the refund.
What happens next
A refund will be posted to the registered owner.
