When you cancel online and choose the bank account refund option, you’ll be prompted to set up a refund bank account if you don’t already have one.

If you cancel in person or by post

If you choose the bank account refund option, make sure you have a refund bank account set up in mySAGOV.

If you don't set up a refund bank account within 2 days of cancelling, your refund will be sent as a cheque by post within 14 days instead.
