Register your boat to a club

Boating club members can apply to have their boat registration number changed to a club number.

How to apply

Complete sections 1, 2 and 4 of the application form.

The secretary of the club needs to approve the application.

Selling a boat with a club registration number

If you sell a boat, but would like to retain the number to use on another boat, you can apply for a change of registration number while you are still the registered owner. Go to a Service SA customer service centre.
