Continue your application
You may get email notifications reminding you to complete your screening application.
To continue your application, log in to your Screening SA account.
Submit in 28 days
Your application will be cancelled if it’s not submitted within 28 days of starting it.
If you are unable to submit your application within 28 days, you’ll need to ask for an extension before the application expires.
Ask for an extension by logging an enquiry through your Screening SA account.
Once logged in, from your account homepage, click 'Log an Enquiry'. Select 'Application Enquiries' as the enquiry type, and 'New Application Process' as the subtype.
If your incomplete application is automatically cancelled after 28 days, you'll need to start a new one.
Check the progress of your application
You'll get an email notification once you’ve submitted your application.
Most applications are completed within 4 weeks. Processing can take longer if you have relevant criminal history. You'll be contacted if the Screening Unit needs more information.
To check the status of your application, log in to your Screening SA account.
From your account homepage, click 'Track Progress'.
