Check vehicle or boat registration
Check registration details for your vehicle or boat.
Penalties apply for driving an unregistered vehicle or operating an unregistered boat. If you're not sure that a vehicle or boat is registered, it's best to check.
Other information returned from this check may include:
- body or hull type
- compulsory third party (CTP) insurer (vehicles only)
- heavy vehicle details (gross vehicle/combination/trailer mass, etc)
Who is this for
People who want to check that a vehicle or boat is registered.
What you need
