Organisations who started an Aged Care Sector Employment Check on behalf of an employee or volunteer will get an outcome notice. The requesting officer will get an email when the application is finalised.

Employees who already have a check

Organisations employing a person who already has an Aged Care Sector Employment Check may be able to verify the check by sighting the homepage of the person’s Screening SA account.

If the person does not want to show you their account, ask for their Aged Care Screening (ACS) number. Send the person’s details and ACS number to the Screening Unit to verify it.

Start a new check

You can start a new Aged Care Sector Employment Check application on behalf of the person if their current check expires within the next 3 months – see start a screening application.
