You may be required to undertake an assessment of your fitness to drive depending on:
- the type of licence you hold
- your age
- if you have a medical condition that may affect your ability to drive.
If you have a medical condition that could affect your ability to drive, you must report it to Service SA.
If you're a commercial driver, you'll be assessed prior to the issue of your licence or driver accreditation.
