Australian disability parking permits are issued for up to five years. A renewal form will be sent to the permit holder approximately six weeks before it expires.
A temporary disabity parking permit is not issued for more than one year and cannot be renewed.
Renew a permit
To renew online you'll need your:
- licence or client number or date of birth
- permit number.
The new permit will take approximately two weeks to arrive in the post.
Replace a permit
To get a replacement permit you can:

- Post the application for a replacement disability parking permit (151.1 KB PDF) to:

There is no fee for a replacement permit.
The new permit will take approximately two weeks to arrive in the post.
If you only require a replacement permit hanger - eg it is sun damaged, you can request a new one by contacting Service SA on 13 10 84 (Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Cancel a permit
A disability parking permit can be cancelled if the holder is no longer eligible or the permit has been misused.
If the permit is no longer needed please advise Service SA by email ServiceSA@sa.gov.au or phone 13 10 84 (Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
