Register as an organisation for screening checks

If you represent a business or you're a sole trader, contractor or self-employed, you must register as an organisation to:

  • apply for a screening check for yourself, and
  • start your employees' checks.

Employers and organisations have an important role to play in safeguarding children and vulnerable people, by ensuring employees or volunteer who work with them have a valid check.

Increased call volumes and application processing delays

We’re experiencing significantly higher than normal call volumes and application enquiries.

This means:

  • phone wait times are longer than usual
  • enquiry response times are longer than usual
  • application processing is taking longer than expected.

We understand your application is important and we appreciate your patience while we respond to enquiries as quickly as we can.

Before contacting us, please look at troubleshooting for screening applications.

Many common problems can be fixed without needing to call or email.
