There are 2 government-owned boat havens - the North Arm Marina and the Port MacDonnell Boat Haven.

A permit, fee and approval are required to lay a mooring within the Port MacDonnell haven or moor at a specific pontoon berth at North Arm.

Fishing vessel less than 9m in length$136.00  per metre
Tender vessel$102.00 per metre
The above is subject to the following  maximum fees: 
  • fishing vessel and 2 tender vessels
$662.00
  • fishing vessel and 3 tender vessels
$747.00
  • other vessels 12m or more in length
$254.00 per metre
  • other vessels less than 12m in length
$3055.00
Temporary permit (1 week or part of a week)$93.00
Port MacDonnell Boat HavenFee
Annual permit$136.00 per metre
