The Master Agreement between the South Australian Housing Trust and community housing providers registered under the National Regulatory System applies to properties where the provider holds the title.
All new funding opportunities must be negotiated under the Master Agreement.
Contract management
Each community housing provider has a contract and relationships manager assigned as a key contact point.
Contract management focuses on:
- early engagement
- building strong relationships
- best outcomes for tenants
- adherence to contracts.
Key performance indicators
Key performance indicators (KPIs) measure a provider's performance against contracted obligations. They relate to:
- housing the right people
- providing fair and accountable tenancy services
- managing project properties.
Providers can track how well they provide accommodation and prioritise people who need support to keep their tenancy.
Selected KPIs are monitored quarterly. A more comprehensive compliance and performance assessment is done annually and includes:
- asset management planning information
- summary maintenance plans
- compliance reports and determinations from the Office of Housing Regulation
- audits for:
- rent and eligibility
- property condition
- alignment with the Community housing disability access and inclusion policy
- AIHW data collection.
