If you are an older person born in a non-English speaking country, you may want some help and support from someone from your own cultural and language background.
The Catalyst Foundation has information for older people from ethnic communities, including information in other languages.
Ethnic Link Services is a statewide program ensuring that people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds have access to supports that will assist them to remain living in their own homes. Ethnic Link also provides extensive training to service providers.
Migrant services for seniors as well as language support, interpreting and translating are provided by Multicultural SA.
Multicultural Communities Council of SA provides a wide range of services, including a transport service and a community visitors' scheme.
