Suspend a liquor licence

You can apply to suspend a liquor or gaming licence for a limited period - eg if your venue is closed for renovation.

You don't need to suspend a licence if an event is being held on the premises under a short term liquor licence. The short term licence will override your permanent licence for its duration.

There's no fee to suspend a liquor licence.

If a licence is suspended on the date that the annual fee becomes due, the annual fee will be reduced to $132. Once the suspension is lifted, you'll be invoiced for the rest of the annual fee.
