Community housing providers will:

  • calculate income-based rent and get regular proof of income from tenants
  • apply property-based rents in line with rent policy
  • manage rent arrears
  • provide receipts and maintain records for bonds and rent
  • lodge, release and claim bonds as required.

Providers must use of a rent calculator that is consistent with SA Housing Trust policies when assessing rent.
