Step 5 of 7 in Help paying bond and rent
When a tenant applies for help through Housing SA, the landlord or agent must confirm the rent amount before funds are released.
Housing SA can guarantee a bond and provide rent in advance before a tenant moves into the rental property.

Provide Housing SA with the tenancy details and the amount of bond and rent payable.
On completion, a reference number will be generated. Give this to the tenant so they can request that Housing SA finalises the assistance.
Other ways to confirm the rent
Complete the Property owner/agent's declaration form (110.6 KB PDF) and give it to the tenant so they can take it to their nearest Housing SA office.
