If you don't carry out the vegetation maintenance yourself, you could:
- arrange for a contractor or the electricity network operator to clear the vegetation
- have trees chemically treated to slow their growth rate.
You could also find out if the electricity network operator will:
- install underground powerlines
- rebuild the supply line with insulated conductors
- create a shorter span between the stobie poles
- relocate the powerline.
