Before you can drive public passenger vehicles such as taxis, rideshare vehicles, chauffeured vehicles and buses for hire, fare or reward in South Australia you need to be accredited.
You must:
- hold a current unrestricted South Australian driver’s licence
- have been driving for a minimum of 6 months in Australia.
If you are also operating a passenger transport business you will need operator accreditation.
