Automatic Mutual Recognition Notification

Automatic Mutual Recognition (AMR) makes it easier for workers who need to be licensed or registered to take up new work opportunities across most of Australia.

You can use your current ‘home state’ licence without having to apply or pay for a new licence when working in another state or territory.

AMR applies to individuals but not companies.

What you'll need

You'll need a copy of your individual interstate occupational licence/registration.

What happens next

Consumer and Business Services will assess your eligibility and email you the next steps.
