You must:
- hold an SA driver’s licence or client number
- be transferring a boat registered in SA.
To transfer the remaining period of registration, the seller will need to provide the boat registration certificate to the new owner. This must be signed by both the seller and the new owner.
In person
Take the completed boat registration certificate to a Service SA centre and pay the transfer fee.
Post
Mail the completed registration certificate with the transfer fee. Payment is by cheque or money order only.
