Victims of crime enquiries

Victims of Crime SA (VOCSA) provides information, advice and support to victims of crime, their families, and friends to ensure they are treated fairly by the criminal justice system in South Australia.

Victims of crime can make an enquiry to VOCSA, who can:

  • provide information, advice and support
  • help to deal with the impact of crime
  • help victims in their dealings with prosecution authorities and government agencies.

However, VOCSA can't:

  • change a decision made by a judge, magistrate or tribunal member
  • direct police to investigate or prosecute
  • investigate a complaint that is already being investigated by another organisation
  • investigate a complaint not covered by the Victims of Crime Act 2001.

Lodge an enquiry with Victims of Crime SA.

If you have issues completing the form, you can contact Victims of Crime SA on 7322 7007.
