Product safety

You have the right to expect that the products you buy will be safe for their intended purpose. It’s your responsibility to make sure that products are used safely, and in line with any instructions and warnings supplied with them.

Visit Product Safety Australia for information about:

  • mandatory safety and information standards
  • product bans
  • current product recalls
  • safety alerts.
