Purpose of the amendment
The DPA proposes to amend built form policy applying to the District Zone (Glenelg Policy Area 2) and Residential High Density Zone to allow medium and/or high rise development depending on location, extensions of each zone, and inclusion of new interface policy to minimise impacts on adjacent residential properties that directly abut.

The areas affected by the DPA include:
- The District Centre Zone - Glenelg Policy Area 2
- The Residential High Density Zone
- Land south of Augusta Street on the eastern side of Durham Street in the Residential Character Zone (which is proposed to be included in the District Centre Zone)
- Land between Adelphi Terrace and Sturt Street south of George Street in the Residential Character Zone (which is proposed to be included in the Residential High Density Zone).
The community information sheet includes a map of the area affected by the DPA, as well as details about the proposed amendment and the amendment process.
