Employment Lands (Gillman / Dry Creek and Wingfield) and General Section amendment

Current status

The Employment Lands (Gillman / Dry Creek and Wingfield) and General Section Amendments Development Plan Amendment (DPA) (16.2 MB PDF) was approved by the Minister for Planning by notice in the South Australian Government Gazette on 10 September 2015.

Purpose of the amendment

This DPA proposes to guide the development of land at Gillman / Dry Creek and a smaller area of land at Wingfield in the Western Adelaide region known as the Cast Metals Precinct for a range of employment generating activities.

The development plans affected are:

  • Port Adelaide Enfield Council Development Plan
  • Land Not Within a Council Area (Metropolitan) Development Plan

Consultation process

Consultation on Ministerial DPAs is conducted by the Development Policy Advisory Committee (DPAC), an independent statutory committee which provides advice to the Minister for Planning.

Public consultation on the amendment closed on 25 May 2015. A public meeting was held on 2 June 2015.
