Automatic deductions
Deductions from Centrelink or Department of Veterans' Affairs income
Use your Housing Connect account or complete a Rent Deduction Scheme form (336.2 KB PDF) and return it to SA Housing Trust to:
- set up deductions
- change your deductions.
It can take up to two weeks for deductions to start or change. You may need to make payments to SA Housing Trust another way until you get confirmation from Centrelink or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
To cancel a deduction do either of these:
- contact SA Housing Trust
- complete a Cancel Rent Deduction Scheme or Direct Debit payments form (654.0 KB PDF) and return it to SA Housing Trust.
Direct debit
Complete a direct debit application (374.0 KB PDF) and return it to SA Housing Trust to set up or change direct debit payments.
To cancel a payment either:
- contact SA Housing Trust
- complete a Cancel Rent Deduction Scheme or Direct Debit payments form (654.0 KB PDF) and return it to SA Housing Trust.
If you complete a form, return it to SA Housing Trust before 5:00 pm the day before your next payment is due.
