To be eligible to register for housing your income must not be more than set amounts. The amount depends on whether you’re single or part of a couple, and how many dependent children you have.
An independent income is a regular income paid directly to you. It can include Centrelink payments, salary and wages, investment income and interest.
You can't have assets worth more than a set amount.
