Renewal SA provides funding to individual community housing providers.

Funding allowances consist of:

  • a property allowance
  • an administrative allowance
  • a maintenance allowance.

All property and administration funding must be kept in a general bank account and the maintenance allowance must be kept separately in a maintenance fund bank account.

Capital contribution payments

Capital contribution payments are paid to Renewal SA. This is any money gained from renting properties funded under the master agreement after the three allowances have been deducted.

If your community housing organisation is suffering hardship due to excessive costs Renewal SA may, in exceptional circumstances, consider reducing your capital contribution payments.

Reporting resources

Capital contribution statements are emailed directly to each provider.
