Step 5 of 7 in Help paying bond and rent
When a tenant applies for help through the SA Housing Trust, the landlord or agent must confirm the rent amount before funds are released.
The SA Housing Trust can guarantee a bond and provide rent in advance before a tenant moves into the rental property.

Provide the SA Housing Trust with the tenancy details and the amount of bond and rent payable.
On completion, a reference number will be generated. Give this to the tenant so they can email it to housingbondrequests@sa.gov.au and ask the SA Housing Trust to finalise the assistance.
Other ways to confirm the rent
Complete the Property owner/agent's declaration form and give it to the tenant so they can take it to their nearest SA Housing Trust office.
