Change rules in an incorporated association

Association rules can be changed if committee members agree by a special resolution or by a membership vote.

Any rule or name changes need to be approved by Consumer and Business Services (CBS) before they can take effect.

Changes can start immediately after they are approved.

1. Application form

Complete the Register changes to rules form 6 and 7 - Incorporated Association  164KB PDF)

2. Supporting evidence

Attach the Checklist for proposed rules (104KB PDF) to your application

3. Lodge with fee

Lodge your application with CBS within one month of the resolution and include the fee of $73.00.
