Applying to be a committee member

There are required standards for committee members of incorporated associations.

There are a number of offences that require permission from CBS to be a member of a committee. This includes things like:

  • offences in connection with promoting, forming or managing a body corporate
  • fraud or dishonesty
  • indictable offences.

These may have taken place in South Australia or elsewhere.

More information about specific offences can be found in the Incorporated Associations - Requirements for members of committees fact sheet.

Applying for leave to be a committee member

You must apply for permission to be a member of a committee where these circumstances apply.

A fee of $75.50 applies.
