Lodge a special resolution to wind up an incorporated association

When an incorporated association lodges the solvency declaration and later passes a special resolution to wind up, it must notify Consumer and Business Services (CBS) below.

To submit this form, a special resolution to wind up the association must have been passed.

What you’ll need

  • A copy of the meeting minutes, signed by the person who presided over the meeting, to show evidence that:
    • at least 21 days written notice of the intention to deregister was provided to members
    • a special resolution was passed by at least 75% of members at the meeting.

What happens next

Your application will be assigned to an assessment officer for review and feedback will be provided to you within 15 business days.
