When an incorporated association lodges the solvency declaration and later passes a special resolution to wind up, it must notify Consumer and Business Services (CBS) below.
To submit the declaration of solvency, a majority of the committee members must make a declaration that they believe the association can fully pay its debts within 12 months of winding up.
What you’ll need
- Minutes of the committee meeting at which the declaration was made (these must be signed by the majority of committee members who made the declaration of solvency).
- A list of the assets (including their estimated realisable value) and liabilities.
What happens next
Your application will be assigned to an assessment officer for review and feedback will be provided to you within 15 business days.
