River Murray flood

The River Murray is currently flooding as a result of high flows upstream. If you live or work in, visit or are passing through River Murray communities, keep up to date with changing conditions and follow advice from authorities. Property owners are being encouraged to track river conditions and prepare their properties.

Restrictions for boating and other activities on the River Murray

There are restrictions on boating and water activities between the South Australian border and the Murray Mouth. These are in place to protect infrastructure and to help keep all river users and property owners safe.
