Vehicle registration

Replace registration labels, certificates and permits

From 1 November 2017, South Australian registered heavy vehicles will no longer need to display a registration label.

Registration details, including expiry date and registered configuration are available via the online Check Registration Expiry Date enquiry. Visit Ezyreg or call 13 10 84 for details.

Heavy vehicles registered under the Federal Interstate Registration Scheme (FIRS) are still required to display a registration label.

Read more about the Removal of registration labels for heavy vehicles.

If you lose or damage your vehicle registration certificate, label, or short-term unregistered vehicle permit, follow these steps to order a replacement.

1. Application form

Complete an application for a replacement (428.6 KB PDF) registration label, certificate or unregistered vehicle permit.

2. Sign the form

Ensure the registered owner signs the application.

3. Lodge in person

Lodge the application at a Service SA customer service centre.

Take your driver's licence with you to the customer service centre as proof of identity and they will issue the replacement immediately upon payment of an administration fee.

If you can't download the application form, or need it in a different format, contact a Service SA customer service centre.
