Southern Expressway

The Southern Expressway is 18.5 km long and runs between Bedford Park and Old Noarlunga.

Reporting a breakdown

If your vehicle breaks down on the Southern Expressway contact the Traffic Management Centre using a roadside emergency phone and then remain with your vehicle until help arrives. Phones are located every 500 metres along the expressway. 

In an emergency situation, such as an accident or breakdown, use your mobile phone to contact the Traffic Management Centre direct on 1800 018 313.

Vehicles left on the expressway and towed away

If you leave your car on the expressway and it is removed, use a roadside emergency phone to call for further information, or telephone the Traffic Management Centre on 1800 018 313.
