Photographic evidence

Photographic evidence is a mandatory identification document for businesses such as mechanical repairers, crash repairs/panel beaters, car detailers.

Note that applications made by car detailers will be accepted on a case by case basis.

Acceptable photographs include:

  • car hoists and grease pits
  • large selection of tools that have permanent storage facilities - ie are not used out of a toolbox
  • chemicals associated with the repair of vehicles - eg greases, solvents, oils
  • vehicle parts
  • electronic and diagnostic equipment for vehicles
  • spray booths
  • clear business signage.
