Other ways to submit your documents

You don't have to attend a Service SA centre if:

  • a medical condition prevents you attending a centre in person when applying for a proof of age card, when a third party can attend on your behalf
  • you are in prison or detention, when Department of Correctional Services staff are authorised to assist by forwarding applications and payments  on your behalf to Service SA
  • you are sending an application via post for a first issue drivers licence or learner's permit or proof of age card your identity documents have been sighted, copied and stamped by a police officer, a Service SA rural agent, a  TAFE agent or a Justice of the Peace.
