If you are temporarily interstate or overseas and need to replace your South Australian driver’s licence, you can replace your licence online if you have a valid photograph.

What happens next

The new licence will be posted to your recorded residential or postal address, so you should have an Australian postal address nominated before you renew your licence. You can update your address online.

If you no longer live in South Australia your South Australian licence may no longer be valid. Contact the relevant local licensing authority for requirements on obtaining a driver’s licence.
