Road rules theory test

Either as part of your Certificate IV or separately at a Service SA centre, you must pass the MDI road law theory test.

The road law theory test is broken into 2 parts, the first includes 8 give way questions. You must obtain a pass mark of 100% for the give way questions.

The remainder of the assessment is general road rules and road craft questions. You must achieve a minimum of 95% for these general questions.

Evidence that the road law theory test has been successfully completed will need to be submitted as part of the MDI application.
