Community impact submission

If you hold a general and hotel licence and wish to change, alter or redefine your premises to allow you to sell liquor from an area commonly known as a bottle shop or drive through bottle shop, you must provide a community impact assessment to demonstrate that the grant of the application is in the community interest.

Selling liquor from a bottle shop or drive-through will affect your annual fees.

If you hold a packaged liquor sales licence and wish to redefine your premises, you must provide a community impact assessment to demonstrate that the grant of the application is in the community interest.

Guidelines and more information about completing a community impact assessment can be found on the CBS website.

A community impact assessment is not required in any other circumstances.
