You can object to an application if you have a reason to do so - for example if you live or work near the proposed licensed premises and think that the business is going to be noisy, or have an impact on the neighbourhood. Lodge your objection before the date stipulated on the notice.

To object a licence application complete the notice of objection form (PDF) and lodge it with CBS. You must also give a copy to the applicant at the address listed in the notice.

If the application is for a small venue licence you cannot object to the application but if you have concerns you can lodge a written submission to CBS which will be considered when making a decision on the application.
