Alter a gaming area

An alteration is any structural change to the licensed premises, including the gaming area. They could include:

  • changes to the location of walls and doorways
  • building extensions
  • renovations.

This application will need to be made at the same time as a corresponding application to change your liquor licence.

There's no fee to apply for approval of a designated gaming area.

Redefine a gaming area

If you need to change the part of a premises that is defined as a gaming area, you will need approval, for example:

  • relocating a gaming room
  • extensions to a gaming room
  • alterations due to the increase or decrease in the approved number of gaming machines.

To alter or redefine your gaming area, log into the Liquor and Gaming Online portal.
