Renew a tobacco licence

Changes to South Australia's tobacco laws have now come into effect for new and existing licence holders. More information is available on the Consumer and Business Services CBS) website.

You no longer need to apply every 12 months to renew a tobacco licence.

You must pay your licence fee and provide information in an annual return each year, unless your licence is cancelled or suspended.

You'll get an email from CBS at least 4 weeks before your licence expires, to collect information about any change of circumstances and trading details, as well as how to submit them.

Wholesale licensees will also need to submit data in a completed template that includes details of each sale and supply made for the past 12 months.
