Doing business with government

Prequalify for government work

Contractors wishing to tender for building and construction projects can prequalify for government contracts. The types of work available include major and minor building construction projects, building maintenance, property services and government accommodation.

Registration does not guarantee that any contracts will be awarded.

Who should apply

Prequalification is for:

  • professional service contractors – professional or para-professional businesses who carry out the design and management functions of projects to meet agency requirements
  • construction contractors – businesses or individuals who contract with agencies to carry out physical building and construction work.

How to apply

Complete the appropriate application form available from the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure website.
