Stay Afloat lifejacket clinic

Marine Safety SA have launched Stay Afloat lifejacket clinics throughout the state to share boating safety information at boat ramps and key events across the state. Stay Afloat clinics will:

  • show you how to wear and maintain your lifejacket
  • tell you what safety gear you need
  • help you understand emergency communications
  • allow you to ask any other boating safety questions.

You can request a Stay Afloat clinic if you are a club, company, association or council. Submit your application no less than 4 weeks prior to an event to allow the best opportunity to meet your requested date/s.

When booking a Stay Afloat clinic you'll need:

  • a minimum of 15 attendees
  • to be responsible for organising this event, including (but not limited to) registrations of attendees and necessary facilities.

If your clinic will have more than 50 attendees, we may need to split it over multiple sessions.

What happens next

Once we receive your application a Marine Safety SA representative will contact you within 5 business days.
