Most of the boat ramps in South Australia are owned by local councils. Each council is responsible for making sure the facilities under their care are kept in safe working order.

Find boat ramps

Boat ramp locations can be found on the Location SA interactive map. Click 'Data Search', type in 'Boat Ramps' and click in the box that appears in the search results to show them on the map. You can also search for Jetty Points.

Grants to upgrade facilities

If you would like your local boat ramp upgraded, or a new facility developed, you can contact your local council. The council are able to apply for funding assistance from the boating facilities fund.
