COVID-SAfe Check-in is a new feature that has been added to the mySAGOV app to support contact tracing.
Download mySAGOV from the App Store and Google Play.
Using the app
When you arrive at a venue where check-in is required, simply tap on the COVID-SAfe Check-in button at the bottom of the home screen and scan the unique QR code displayed at the venue. You don't need to check out.
No login required
You don't need to create a mySAGOV account or log in to use this feature, just tap on the button at the bottom of the screen to activate the scanning feature.
First time use
The first time you use COVID-SAfe Check-in, you'll be asked to enter your name and mobile number. You'll then receive a text message with a unique code to enter into the app. This is to verify your phone number.
You may occasionally need to re-enter your details and verify your phone number with a new code.
No smart phone?
If you don't have a compatible smart phone you must provide contact details manually using the forms provided at the venue.

Use this sample QR code to test that your app is working properly.
