Wage subsidy information

Your business may be eligible for wage subsidies for employing various types of staff.

If you employ apprentices and trainees, visit incentives for employers on the WorkReady website to learn more about the incentives available.

There are also incentives for employing people 50 years of age or older, visit restart wage subsidy.

Support to employ people with disability

Disability Employment Service (DES) will assist you to employ people with disability and supporting their ongoing employment. Visit Disability Employment Australia to learn about the support that is available to you.

Support to employ aboriginal people

Employers who employ Aboriginal people may be able to access a wage subsidy. Contact your local Jobactive provider on the Jobactive website for more information.
