Employing people

Assistance for employers

Good workforce planning is critical to your business. Learn more about workforce planning at the WorkReady website.

Jobactive provides assistance to employers to find staff. Providers access flexible funding that may be used to purchase wage subsidies and work trials for job seekers. Visit the Jobactive website or call the Employer Hotline on 13 17 15.

If you don't have the necessary in-house capabilities to undertake technical research and development, working with a research provider, such as a university or another business with specialist expertise may be the answer. An Innovation Voucher Program offers funding for eligible businesses to work with a research provider. Visit Innovation Vouchers Program.

Help with Aboriginal culture

Develop understanding of aboriginal culture among your staff through cultural awareness training. Visit Reconciliation Australia to find a training provider near you.
