Turning gas supply off and on

Before turning your gas supply off or on, make sure you turn off all gas appliances and pilot lights first. For example, turn off gas cooking appliances, heaters, and water heaters, including its water tap.

Location of the natural gas meter

LPG supply

Your LPG cylinder will usually be installed on a concrete slab near the house.

  • Off - turn the round valve at the top of the cylinder clockwise until it won’t turn anymore. If you have more than one cylinder, make sure you turn them both off.
  • On - turn the valve anti-clockwise.
