Adelaide Oval Footbridge amendment

Purpose of the amendment

This DPA proposed changes to zoning to enable development of a footbridge across the Torrens Lake between the Adelaide Oval and the Adelaide Festival Theatre complex.

Area affected by the amendment

The DPA affected areas of the Torrens riverbank adjacent to the Adelaide Oval and the Adelaide Festival complex. The community information sheet - (508.7 KB PDF) includes a map of the site.

Consultation process

Consultation on Ministerial DPAs is conducted by the Development Policy Advisory Committee (DPAC), an independent statutory committee which provides advice to the Minister for Planning.

Public consultation on the amendment closed on 20 March 2013. A public meeting was held on 9 April 2013.
